Built with the same reliable construction and precise machining that Industry Nine has become known for, this version is compatible with Boost front and rear axles
Industry Nine starts with dependable aluminum rim construction for the Trail 245s, increasing the internal width to 24
5mm and giving the rim its new Second Generation Tubeless profile
This means wider bead seats and a shorter, more tapered bead wall -- overall, a more flared shape -- to improve the tires' flat resistance at low pressures
The ever-expanding girth of 27
5 tires is better accommodated by this profile, and the reinforced rims enjoy more dent resistance and overall strength
Though they create stronger rims, these changes don't result in a drastic weight difference, adding only 20g to the entire setup compared to the previous version, and they result in a rim that's well-suited to the do-everything capabilities of a 27
5in platform
Industry Nine's signature hubs are largely responsible for the brand's enthusiastic following, and the latest Torch hubs used in the Trail 245s don't disappoint
They're laced to the rims with Industry Nine's machined 7075-T6 aluminum spokes, which thread directly into the hubs
